Wherstead Park is a new addition to The Great Garden Trail 2026, overlooking the River Orwell. Nestled in the Suffolk countryside with a tranquil setting, the parkland is gently sloped and dotted with heritage trees, including boxed hedge squares and a rose-lined pergola. Several walks available around the ground, which was landscaped by renowned architect Humphry Repton. Access to the 18th century mansion. Plants available to buy. Refreshments available. Dogs welcome on leads.
