How we list

The Deben Diary is a community update for Woodbridge and the surrounding Suffolk area. It pulls together what's on each week from the venues, town councils, sports clubs, and community groups around the Deben.

Listings come from two places. Most are gathered automatically: a pair of small AI agents check the websites of local venues and organisations and pull out anything new. Everything goes through a quick human review before it appears here, so you should never see duplicates, expired events, or things happening in the wrong county.

The rest come straight from organisers via the submit an event form. If you run something locally and you'd like it on here, that's the place to start.

Listings refresh every 30 minutes, so anything we've picked up appears on the site soon after. A Friday roundup email goes out each week with the weekend's best and a look at the week ahead — sign up here.

We don't charge venues or organisers to be listed. If anything looks wrong or out of date, let us know and we'll fix it.
