Twenty years after the original phenomenon, Miranda Priestly and Emily Charlton clash as rivals competing for advertising revenue in the fashion world. Miranda, played by Meryl Streep, struggles against Emily Blunt's character as they navigate the declining print media landscape while Miranda nears retirement. The film reunites the original main cast (Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci) with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, and introduces a new runway of characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, and Lucy Liu.
